The DONNINI family has always celebrated large family gatherings with a tray of Lasagne. 

A perennial favourite amongst all family members, our Lasagna recipe originates from Modena, Emilia Romagna, where our maternal great-grand mother Eros was born.

Her meticulous kitchen love generated many meals - but her speciality was her Lasagne.

Her daughter Elena brought our family's Lasagna to the people of Melbourne - first gracing our menu in 1952.

'Nonna Lena' provided many serving of Lasagne over 60 years of being in a kitchen - but always saved her finest for for her children and grand children.

Now, Gianna Donnini and Maria Briscuso have inherited the the recipe and the passion to provide the highest quality, handmade Lasagna. Using only the finest ingredients, Gianna Donnini prepares each tray individually, ensuring perfection and consistency.

Pre-heat oven to 180 C

Take off lid 

Bake for 40 mins to 1 hour 


Spinach pasta sheets (egg + 00 flour)

Pork mince (carrot, celery, onion, tomato)
